I'm an avid reader - and occasional writer. The Books Pages - reviews, interviews with authors, etc. and blogs - in our local paper, the Syracuse Post Standard fascinate me, as do similar articles in various magazines. This blog will include my reviews of various books I've read plus items that may be of interest to other 'Bookies' like me ("such as I" is so stuffy)!

Addendum
I just finished a book by Aaron Elkins and also The Help - which I loved. Reviews here soon. I just started Game Change.
