There are 'trekkies' and 'groupies' so I use the term 'bookies'. Hmmm. Well - if you're googling a site to place bets - this ain't it! LOL My definition follows:

A person who looks at the cover, reads the back, then the flyleaf, then all the data in the first few pages including the dedication and foreward (if there is one) and then - if it's new - smells the book.
Yep - smells it! The scent of new paper and ink is part of the enjoyment.
